Born in Graz in 1944, studied German, history and art history, cultural journalist, cultural press work, managing director of Steir. Society for cultural policy 1977-2017 and the Styrian Cultural Initiative since 1994. Member of the Styrian Regional Cultural Advisory Board 1998-2003 and the Styrian Culture Board 2009-2014.
