Born in Frohnleiten / Styria. Visual artist and media artist, lives and works in Graz. Studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, graduated in 1981. Jauk-Hinz realised a number of study visits and scholarships abroad, including UMAS, Ontario / Canada. Member a.o. 1982-1992 Eva & Co; since 1995 Kunstverein W.A.S. (Womyn’s Art Support). Curated since 2013 “VAGINAMUSEUM.at”, founded by Kerstin Rajnar. In her work, communicative qualities of technical media are used as well as process-based work in performative interactions, whether in public space or in a defined art space. Jauk-Hinz participated in and realized a number of projects and exhibitions, including “Expanded Media Art Triennial”, Belgrade, 2016, 2019.
